During the COMEX, the Middle East’s leading ICT trade fair, Singapore’s IDA (Infocomm Development Authority) brought representatives from five technology companies from Singapore to COMEX to meet Omani businesses and government officials to boost e-government, mobility, and intelligent transport solutions.
These companies, Crimson Logic, Quantum Inventions, Simple Solutions Systems, SQL View and V3 Teletech, will be working closely with Omani companies and government bodies to share their experience, expertise, and knowledge following its successful engagement with the Ministry of Manpower where they developed a single window for the visa process.
The mission of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) is to develop information technology and telecommunications within Singapore with a view to serving citizens of all ages and companies of all sizes. IDA does this by actively supporting the growth of innovative technology companies and start-ups in Singapore, working with leading global IT companies as well as developing excellent information technology and telecommunications infrastructure, policies and capabilities for Singapore.
Oman is the gateway to the Middle East and has much to offer in terms of a young, educated and entrepreneurial population. Singapore companies are keen to support and continue building this developing tech and business environment together with our Omani counterparts. Technology is constantly changing and it is important to have the right tools in place to ensure successful adaptation to this change, and this is the know-how that our Singapore tech companies are looking to learn from and share with Omani businesses.
The IDA Singapore and participating companies will be at the Singapore Pavilion at COMEX, which is taking place at the Oman International Exhibition Centre from April 27 to May 1.
Industry heavyweights like Cisco, Ooredoo, Avaya, Microsoft, GBM, Omantel, MGIT, and Oman Fiber Optics have supported COMEX 2015 as key sponsors.
