The US-based private network operator, Unite Private Networks (UPN) has expanded its fiber optic network coverage in the Denton area. UPN can now serve its customers in more areas with the current network expansion.
The fiber network expansion in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro consists of the construction of around 96 kilometers of new fiber optic infrastructure throughout Denton, Texas. UPN decided to expand its network to tap the potential from the enterprise customers in the area.
UPN offers access to dark fiber or dedicated live fiber services to its customers. The speeds are scalable from 100 Mbps to 100 Gbps. Customers can choose the speed based on their business requirements.
Denton County is forecasted to experience the strongest economic growth in the U.S. over the next several years, at 4.1 percent, according to a study by Oxford Economics.
UPN has a considerable network infrastructure asset in Dallas/Fort Worth, and Denton is a continuation of UPN’s commitment to serving the entire metro area.
UPN’s Metro Optical Ethernet (MOE) ring that serves Denton has two diverse routes, spanning both the east and west sides of Lake Lewisville and will connect back into its core network thereby giving business customers more advanced connectivity options. Officials in UPN said that the extension of its network infrastructure into Denton provides enthusiasm and energy to the entire team, which is looking forward to working with the business community.
