JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary: The Foreman will provide on-site supervision of all construction related activities including, erection and repair of towers and co-location system placement. This position will complete construction projects by scheduling materials, equipment, and personnel, monitoring projects, enforcing code and safety regulations, and supervising technicians.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise and assist in the installation of all aspects of wire cell site RF antenna installations
Lead tower top work and ensure that a quality and safe installation has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, etc.
Observe and direct work to ensure the highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld
Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits
Review all documentation to prepare for installation, assemble the necessary materials, determine required installation methods, tools, and equipment
Identify and select cables, ropes, blocks, and tackle by weight and size of load to be moved
Maintain equipment and material inventory on crew truck(s)
Collect and review all on-site closeout documentation and submit to the appropriate parties per the deliverable timelines
Coordinate with the site owner representative for site related activities and maintain a good working relationship with each
Provide direction to crane operators engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure the safety of others and material handled
Provide training to crew members as required
Attend weekly safety meetings
Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Related trade school education
Experience:

Five to seven years of tower climbing experience
Two to four years supervising a crew
Specific experience with wireless carrier builds and maintenance
Ability to demonstrate connector applications
Must have an understanding of the installation and testing of the latest technologies
Ability to read site installation documentation and build accordingly
Working knowledge of safety, construction, and quality assurance standards and regulations in the tower industry
Fall protection training
OSHA 30 Construction Training
First Aid and CPR certification
Technical Skills:

RF safety awareness
Anritsu Site Master Certification
Cellular antenna and mounting
Understanding and proficient in working with coaxial systems, diplexers, electrical down titles, bias-Ts, site equipment grounding, fiber, and DC power hybrid cables
Sweep and PIM testing
Ability to install remote radio heads
Soft Skills:

Highly organized and detail orientated
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Time management; must be able to meet tight deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication
Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Individuals must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company requirements
Must be able to climb and perform work at various heights, up to 400 feet, for long periods of time
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes
Must be able to pull his/her own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly for long periods of time
Must be willing to travel out of market/state up to 100% of the time
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
Position requires working outdoors in all types of weather.
