Rostelecom Expands Fiber Services in Kirov

Rosetelecom says it had deployed 40 kilometers of fiber optic cables in Kirov region serving government establishments in Samara. The Russian national telecom operator connects the properties owned by the commercial enterprises and government institutions in the Kirov region with the latest telecommunication technology.

Rosetelecom has started providing broadband, IP telephony, VPN and other services in 43 such premises over its high-speed fiber optic network. The operator has also started providing internet services to the electronic government service center in the city of Samara.
