As part of this process we are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer to join the Capital Project Team.
In this position you will support the Engineering Team to provide electrical and instrumentation specialist and technical advice and manage projects for replacement and modernising of E&I equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate and up to date technology is installed to support business goals.
You will contribute to the overall Oji Fibre Solutions – Tasman performance to achieve cost reductions, meet production targets, environmental and statutory compliance and to meet the engineering budgets. You will manage individual projects assigned to maximise the value of capital and maintenance spending and to implement effective projects.
You will demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to safety, health and the wellbeing of all personnel associated with the business.
This position ideally requires:
? A Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Major)
? Knowledge and experience in electrical, instrumentation and control systems engineering, project management, project implementation and design aspects ideally in a pulp and paper mill or heavy industry.
• Electrical ( 415 V &11kV reticulation; VSDs’; Soft Starters)
• Instrumentation (Analysers; Process Sensors; CCTV: Actuators)
• Control System ( Control Logics; Bailey DCS; BMS systems)
? A minimum of three years’ experience ideally in a similar industry.
? Knowledge in maintenance and skills in troubleshooting.
? Commercial awareness for project evaluation and submission for approval.
