Our client is a rapidly-growing telecommunications company based in North-West Sydney. Due to continued success they’re now looking to expand their team once again by hiring a suitably experienced team member to focus on the production of splicing schedules.
The Job
During your busy working day you’ll be analysing both current and future network requirements relating to the dark-fibre network of a rapidly-expanding telecommunications carrier. You will identify where and when fibre optic splices will be programmed in order to meet the demands of this private fibre network. You will use computers constantly and will liaise with various stakeholders to ensure adequate resources are in the right place at the right time. You’ll produce up to 10 splice schedules per day and utilise your forward-thinking ability to accurately predict future network requirements.
The Person
The successful applicant will have some sort of telecommunications-related experience and strong computer skills. Your telecommunications experience may include previous network design-related duties but will certainly include good knowledge of general fibre-related principles. You will be a fast and efficient worker and will have superior communication skills with a great command of English.
