JOB SUMMARY:
• Participate in the design, engineering and support of voice systems to meet functional objectives of the business
• Cisco Unity Voice Mail
o Planning and testing to migrate to Unity Version 10.x
o Unity Version 10. x project implementation
o Support role for voice mail technology (system issues, advanced menu configurations, documentation)
• Recording Systems
o Planning activities for future voice recording systems
o Projects to life-cycle voice recording systems
o Support role for voice recording system issues
• Etrali Turret phone systems
o Planning for life cycle activities based on vendor roadmaps
o Projects to life-cycle turret phone systems
• Utilize and follow established network standards and processes.
• Perform project management and design tasks on projects
• Coordinates and monitors work activities and tasks of projects, using approved applications and tools
• Performs pre and post project documentation following established guidelines
• Collaborate with others within the work group, department, or other corporate entities as necessary to complete the projects
• Performs routine engineering activity with minimum direction from higher level employees
• Possess the ability to manage and engineer multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creates and supports a safe working environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 – 6 years of voice project / support experience
• Project experience – coordination and follow-thru on projects
• Troubleshooting – Voice experience to support issues
• Knowledge of the following:
o Cisco Voice: Call Manager Version 10.x, Cisco Unity 10.x, recording systems, Etrali turret phone systems
o Experience with standard voice protocols; H323, MGCP, SIP, SCCP
o CISCO voice hardware (routers, gateways,
o Server (physical / virtual) architecture and database knowledge
o Cisco TAC processes
o IP Networking Basics
• Desire to learn
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Possess MS Office and Visio experience
• Possess proficient interpersonal and written English skills
