Argentina’s telecommunication operator Metrotel plans for investment of USD 6.8 million to expand its fiber optic network. The Metrotel’s fiber optic network currently reaches 2,000 kilometres. Metrotel mainly focuses on the corporate segment. The company generated revenues of USD 30.8 million in 2014. Metrotel is owned by local holding Sociedad Comercial del Plata.
